Product Description

GHK-Cu is a small molecule made of three amino acids bound to a copper ion. It occurs naturally in a range of biological fluids and tissues, with concentrations known to decline with age. Because it's a stable, well-characterised molecule, researchers can study it consistently across cell cultures, animal models, and tissue-based research.

In laboratory studies, GHK-Cu has been observed to interact with several cellular processes at once: reported effects include changes in collagen gene expression, increased markers of angiogenesis in cell culture models, and altered markers of oxidative stress response. It has also been shown to alter the expression of an unusually large number of genes relative to its small molecular size. As with other research peptides, the specific effects observed depend heavily on concentration, tissue type, and experimental design — which is why GHK-Cu is studied as a model for these overlapping signalling pathways, rather than treated as a compound with one settled, well-defined effect.
